I have always found such joy in creating relatable films which are very relevant in today's society and so when creating the script I found it so therapeutic as this script is very close to my heart. I suffer from anxiety and I thought to put a twist on it by telling it from a different perspective and that's where I found such joy in creating this script.

The moment I laid eyes on the script I immediately gravitated towards John Gumede, our protagonist and I heavily related towards him because I too suffer from my own anxieties as a black man in South Africa and being able to show that and embody that through a character was quite enjoyable.
